Bath Festivals has a committed and skilled permanent staff, under its Chief Executive, Nod Knowles, and a record of high quality national and international achievement in the arts.

The company directly promotes the Music and Literature festivals (and associated education work) under the artistic directorship of Joanna MacGregor and James Runcie respectively.

Chair and Board
In December 2009 the company recruited Jane Drabble as its new Chair to lead the board and staff as the company changes and develops.

As a publicly funded body, the company recruits members of the board of 11 trustee/directors by open application and a selection process designed to ensure an effective and balanced membership of skills and interests.
