Bath Festivals has a committed and skilled permanent staff, under its Chief Executive, Belinda Kidd, and a record of high quality national and international achievement in the arts.
The company directly promotes the Music and Literature, and Children’s Literature festivals (and associated education work) under the artistic directorship of Joanna MacGregor, James Runcie and John & Gill McLay respectively.
As a publicly funded body, the company recruits members of the board of 11 trustee/directors by open application and a selection process designed to ensure an effective and balanced membership of skills and interests.
The Board is chaired by Jane Drabble OBE, who was a senior BBC executive and has wide experience in the Arts.
