Education

The B&NES Cultural Forum believes that the widest possible participation in the cultural life of B&NES is to the benefit of all sectors of the community and such engagement has the power to generate a stronger sense of ownership for the people within it.

The education and community programmes run by Cultural Forum members, including outreach projects, festival programmes, sporting activities and events at venues and museums, aim to make cultural activities accessible to all: all ages, social and ethnic groups, residents and visitors alike. In addition to this outward facing mission, the education group will offer educational support to member organisations to enable sharing of best practices in the structure and operation of the cultural entities within the Cultural Forum.
