Over a dozen period rooms display the museum's vast collection of decorative arts spanning from the late 17th to the mid 19th centuries. Thirty acres of gardens and grounds are open for visitors to explore, as well as the American Heritage exhibition, café, shops, and a special annual exhibition. There is a full program of events - including historic re-enactments, lectures, kids' activities, and concerts - most of which are included in the price of admission.
